Traffic Skills 101 is designed to make you safe & confident on your bike.

The first full-fledged Traffic Skills 101 course has been scheduled for the Tidewater area on October 23/24.  Traffic Skills 101 is a nine-hour bicycle safety course from the League of American Bicyclists (LAB).   A substantial portion of the class is dedicated to on-the-bike skills training.

Stephanie Smith (Williamsburg), Bruce Drees (Virginia Beach) and Thomas White (Norfolk) have been certified by LAB to teach these courses, and the first course will be in Norfolk. For more information, contact Stephanie (stephanie[at]activewilliamsburg.org).

Our hope is to get this course, or a variation, scheduled in this area in the not-too-distant future, but the demand in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area is really high right now.
